Wyoming East 74, Summers County 51: Wyoming East erupted for 33 first-quarter points and went on to roll past Summers County 74-51 Tuesday.
David Carte led the Warriors with 18 points and Johnathan Sims scored 12, all from behind the 3-point arc. R.J. Foldon and Alec Lusk added 10 points apiece and Logan Blankenship had nine.
Matt Ryan led the Bobcats with 15 points and Dacota Thomas had 11.
Summers County (3-4) hosts James Monroe Saturday, varsity tips at 6 p.m. Wyoming East (3-2) travels to Independence Saturday.
