Narrows 50, E. Montgomery 30
FLOYD, Va. — Steven Dunford and Chase Lawson shared game-high scoring honors with 15 points apiece as the Green Wave won a Saturday morning contest in the Chase Harman Classic at Floyd County High School.
Narrows allowed the Mustangs two points in the first quarter, on a Josh Royal field goal, and gave up 11 field goals overall. Royal led Eastern Montgomery with eight points.
The Green Wave forced 20 turnovers and lost 12 balls themselves.
Lawson added five rebounds for Narrows, and Cole Blaker had 11 boards to go with seven second-half points.
The Green Wave hosts Bland County on Tuesday night.
