WELCH — Kenny Brown scored 14 points, including a dunk in the final seconds to pull Mount View ahead by five points, and the Golden Knights held on for an 80-78 overtime win over River View on Tuesday night.
Mount View (3-7), which got two free throws from De’Moni Edwards with seven seconds left to force overtime, overcame 44 points, including eight 3s by Tyree Baker.
Jaquane Imes led Mount View with 24 points, while Edwards added 14 and Kobe Brown had 11.
Brian Mitchell added 17 points, including five 3s, for River View, while Jonah Baker added 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Mount View will host Wyoming East tonight at 8:15 p.m., with the Lady Knights opening the action against Man at 7.
River View (8-3) will host Twin Valley on Thursday.
