Shamecca Perkins contributed eight points for Mount View (10-10), which will play James Monroe in the sectionals on Saturday at Princeton Senior High School beginning at 6 p.m.
Kelsey Hart paced Independence with eight points, while Alyssa Ward tallied seven.
