ABINGDON, Va. — The Lady Falcons are peaking at the right time as they knocked the Lady Bulldogs out of the Region IV, Division 3 tournament.
Taylor Catron led Tazewell with 14 points. Whitney Saunders added eight while Autumn Hash finished with seven.
Hannah Bays paced Abingdon with 22 points. She was the lone Falcon in double figures.
Abingdon plays Patrick County Thursday at Richlands Middle School. Richlands and Martinsville will close out the doubleheader which begins at 6 p.m.
