BRUSHFORK — Essence Brown scored 16 and Destiney Sims 11 to lead the Bluefield Lady Beavers past the James Monroe Lady Mavericks.
Rebecca Sparks led James Monroe with 20 and Whitney Ogle added 10.
Sectional tournament play is next for both teams. James Monroe plays tonight at River View and Bluefield takes on Mount View, Tuesday in Princeton.
