HINTON — Two unbeaten teams took the floor Friday on the opening night of the R.T. Rogers Oil Classic in Hinton. The host team, the Lady Bobcats, remained undefeated.
Whitney Justice scored 27 points and her sister Brittney had 17 points, five steals and 15 rebounds as Summers County (3-0) pulled away in the second half after leading 39-28 at the break. Abby Taylor had eight rebounds for the Lady Bobcats.
Shiann Meeks scored 21 points to pace Chapmanville (2-1).
Summers County moves on to play in tonight’s championship game, at about 7:30 p.m.
