COAL CITY — Kiersten Roberts led five River View players in double figures with 17 points, while the Raiders held the Patriots to just nine pionts.

Kiersten Dority added 14 points for River View, while Katie Dobbs had 11 points, and Paige Cooper and Lindsay Meade added 10 points apiece.

Dobbs also contributed 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals, while Meade had eight rebounds and Christian dished out five assists.

Chloe Layne had five of Independence’s nine points, with the Patriots scoring seven points in the second, and none in the first and fourth quarters.

River View (4-1) will host Mountain Mission on Thursday.
