PIPESTEM — The Panthers roared to a 43-23 halftime lead and held off a 20-point fourth quarter by Seneca Trail Christian Academy on Monday in Pipestem.

Pipestem Christian (9-3) sank seven 3-pointers, with Jayson Steele canning three on his way to 15 points. Ethan Lane led the Panthers with 21 points.

Joey Van Reenen and Matt Sams were Seneca Trail’s top scorers with 18 and 13 points respectively.

Pipestem plays a week from today at 6 p.m. at Mountain View Christian Academy in Glen Jean.
