BUFFALO — Montcalm’s Lady Generals opened the new year with a 38-35 win Friday afternoon over the Buffalo Bison.

Stormy Carver led the Lady Generals (3-6) with 14 points, eight rebounds and a blocked shot. Heather Nicewonder added eight points and two assists.

Buffalo’s Olivia Dunn led all scorers with 22 points and Makayla Lewis added 11.

Montcalm returns to the court Tuesday, hosting Mercer Christian.
